Accessibility and Inclusion

1. Enhance Accessibility
   • I am committed to enhancing accessibility in Ward 6. This includes advocating for inclusive policies to ensure development of public spaces are accessible, promoting barrier-free designs, and ensuring the availability of support services for residents with disabilities. By engaging with residents, we will better understand and address their needs, ensuring that all our neighbors can fully participate in and benefit from our community.
2. Support for Marginalized Groups
   • I will advocate for policies that promote equity and inclusion for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and our neighbors that are Black, Indigenous, or People of Colour. I will support policies that address systemic barriers and foster acceptance of these marginalized communities.
3. Truth and Reconciliation
   • I am committed to implementing the Calls to Action of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. Together our community needs to promote understanding and reconciliation with the Indigenous Nations in our city.
